There are a number of film and video guide books in the NY area. There are certainly bigger books then the NYPG, such as the NY 411, but we chose NYPG as our one representative of this group. NYPG has been around for over 30 years, and quite frankly we just like these guys and the way they do business. Publisher Richar Babchak, and his right hand person in charge of advertising and Production is Valerie Cox. Their reputation is stellar. Talk to anyone about the NYPG and you'll mostly get the same answer "we love these guys". At production hotspot we luv em too. There new website is looking great, and they are still publishing the old fashioned way. They have fashioned their guide after the AICP bid form. So they have a special leaning towards companies working in the advertising niche, but they really feature a broader selection that just that.
We are not saying that these guys are the only game in town, but talk to either Rick or Val for just a few minutes and you'll know we we feature them on our shortcut guide. Keep up the good work NYPG, because whatever you've been doing, it seems to be working just fine.
