Wow, what a place. Mark Keller’s Loudville Studios has been providing music, recording and mixing services for more than 20 years. They have constantly evolved to keep up with changing technologies and complex production universe. There is a certain kind of creative charm that this facility radiates. More then just its well thought out layout, it’s one of those places where you feel compelled to be creative
In recent years, the studio has expanded on it’s audio and music underpinnings to include HD video production. It features a unique recording stage that is linked to 4 hd cameras, all of which are remotely controlled. This means you can now shoot broadcast TV, or stream live to the internet, while you capture the video for archived content AND record a CD of the audio - all at the same time. You can even have a live audience of up to 40 people. Very cool when you see it person and definitely worth a visit.
The studio features a video control room/editing suite where the video and audio components talk to each other for maximum flexibility. The audio side features the latest pro-tools, Avid D-Command, Genelec speakers, and a host of top flight microphones including the holy grail of mics, the Telefunken U-47.
Loudville is a great call for ADR work. The studio is “connected”, and the whole world is at your fingertips. Owner Mark Keller uses ISDN connections to send his voice-over work to top clients, such as National Geographic Channel and CBS. Its also good to know that besides being a talented voice-over actor and singer, Mark is first and foremost an award-winning composer who specializes in scoring/producing orginal music. Need music? Mark should definitely be on your short list.
If you are not familiar with Mark and the Loudville Studio we suggest you figure out a way to get a tour, or visit their website. You WILL be impressed. This is a bit of a local treasure and a facility with a long track record of supporting a wide range of creative and production visions. We are happy to feature them on PHS and think you should check them out.
